BOLD LEADERSHIP THROUGH CRISIS AND CHANGE

Bold Leadership Through Crisis and Change
We gained valuable insights across a panel of successful leaders who have overcome the challenges faced in their careers, as well as the role of empathetic leadership in our ‘new World of Work’.
Three of Australia’s top business leaders, David Gonski AC, Salesforce ANZ CEO Pip Marlow and Talent CEO Mark Nielsen provided valuable insights and conversation streamed Live from the MCA in Sydney.
Working as a team, influencing innovative thinking and reducing fear were all mentioned during the conversation. I’m a true believer in being authentic, so it was refreshing to hear the panel talk about the need to be an authentic and empathetic leader and finding new ways to achieve this during a pandemic and rapidly evolving uncertain times.
Today’s new world of work is challenging the best of the best leaders. A few of the many stand out comments during the panel discussion included;
“Recognise your fear but more importantly focus on the things you’re trying to achieve”
“Fear is part of risk management”
“work as a team, live your values and give it your all”
“looking for leaders that don’t have insecurities is out of date” and
“focus on being better not being perfect”
Thank you to the impressive panel of leaders who shared their thoughts and experience during this eventful discussion.
